Israel’s brutal assassination kill list as they mark Hamas founder, ‘Gaza’s Bin Laden’ & next leader for death
ISRAEL today released their kill list of Hamas terrorists they’ve taken out as focus turns to leader Yahya Sinwar, dubbed “Gaza’s Bin Laden”.
The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) have ferociously hunted down the death cult since the October 7 massacre last year, relying on their formidable array of techniques to wipe out enemies.
Israeli leaders have repeatedly vowed not to give up fighting in Gaza’s decimated strip until all of Hamas’ founders, leaders and members are wiped out.
This week they announced the death of two out of three top targets, as well as a commander from Hamas-allied terror group Hezbollah.
Now Yahya Sinwar, Hamas boss in the war-torn Strip, is the last major kingpin left to hunt down.
Another high-profile target is Khaled Meshaal, tipped to take over from assassinated Ismail Haniyeh as Hamas’ new political leader.
Last man standing Sinwar has evaded Israeli assassination in Gaza during almost 10 months of war.
He is believed to be hiding in the tunnels under the city, used by the terror group to move, transport weapons and even hold hostages.
Retired Israeli brigadier general Amir Avivi told The Sun on Wednesday that Israel’s recent strikes on Hamas bosses is evidence of its formidable capacity to destroy enemies anytime and anywhere.
Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to wipe out all of Hamas after the massacre last year.
Today IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari doubled down with a fierce statement to “the entire Middle East”.
He wrote: “Let those who attack the citizens of the State of Israel know that we are ready to go far, to bring accurate intelligence, to harm and kill.”
Hamas murdered some 1,200 people in Israel and kidnapped 250 more during the early morning attack in October.
Since then the Gaza Strip has been ravaged by war between the terror group and the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF).
According to the Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza, at least 35,000 Palestinians have been killed in the conflict.
ELIMINATED TARGETS
On Thursday morning the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) announced that a strike on Khan Younis, southern Gaza, had killed Mohammed Deif on July 13.
The 58-year-old terror kingpin had worked as head of Hamas’ ruthless military wing, the al-Qassam brigades, since 2002.
IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari released footage online of the fierce hit, with an enormous explosion breaking out in a blitzed area of southern Gaza.
Israeli forces also killed Rafa Salama, commander of the Khan Younis Hamas wing, in the same strike.
Just a few days before, a different Israeli hit took out Hamas’ political leader, Ismail Haniyeh, in Iran.
A rocket fired from a drone in a feat of incredible precision took out the terror boss as he slept soundly in Iran’s capital.
All three men, along with the ruthless Sinwar and countless others, were behind the October massacre which saw Hamas kill 1,200 Israelis and kidnap 250 more.
Less than 24 hours before Haniyeh was killed on Monday, Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) reportedly took out Fuad Shukr, Hezbollah’s top military commander, in a targeted strike on Beirut.
Retired Israeli brigadier general Amir Avivi told The Sun on Wednesday that the strike which eliminated Haniyeh is evidence of Israel’s formidable capacity to hit its enemies anytime, anywhere.
He said: “Israel won’t stop until every single leader that was involved in this massacre will pay for what they did.
“Obviously, it sends a message that Israel can get to any terror leader anywhere.
“Even if it takes a bit of time, eventually, we’ll be able to target them”, he told us.
Marwan Issa, Sinwar’s righthand man dubbed the “Shadow Man” for his ability to dodge assassination attempts, was also taken out this year.
He was killed on March 10 during an operation in the Gaza Strip, IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari confirmed at the time.
Issa was the deputy commander of Hamas’ military wing and acted as one of Yahya Sinwar‘s henchmen.
Ayman Nofal, Hamas’ commander in the centre of Gaza, was also taken out by an Israeli airstrike – but in October 2023.
Countless other Hamas and Hezbollah operatives have been taken out, with Middle East correspondent Jotam Confino sharing an official Israeli government list of them on X today.
HIGH-LEVEL TARGETS
Plenty of high-ranking operatives inside Hamas remain a top priority for IDF assassination operations in Gaza.
Yahya Sinwar’s own brother Mohammad joined Hamas in the early 90s.
He spent years in Israeli prison for terror activities and after his release upped his involvement in the death cult.
The younger Sinwar then became commander of a wing in Khan Younis in 2005.
Michael Milshtein, head of the Palestinian Studies Forum at the Dayan Center of Tel Aviv University, told Fox News: “He is involved in decision-making and was very involved in planning the Oct. 7 attack with him [Sinwar].”
Khaled Meshaal has been tipped to serve as the group’s new political leader abroad after Haniyeh’s assassination.
Israeli spies injected him with poison in 1997 in a failed assassination attempt outside his office in Jordan.
Ordered by Netanyahu, Jordan’s King at the time was so enraged by the attempt on Meshaal’s life that he ordered an antidote be handed over.
Co-founder of Hamas and senior terror operative Mahmoud al-Zahar also ranks high on Israel’s kill list.
And Issam al-Da’alis works as the head of Hamas’ government in Gaza, effectively it’s equivalent of a ‘Prime Minister’ in the Strip.
