Carefully designed the savvy product comes in three different colours and can be easily popped in a bag to take on holiday.

PlayWorks Mist Spray Fans are on offer for just £2.49 and are 20 per cent off on The Works website.

The discount chain, sells value gifts, arts, crafts, toys, books and stationery.

The fans come in yellow, pink and blue and have a water tank below the fan which uses a pump.

This means not only does the owner benefit from the cooling air stream but also a refreshing spray of cold water.

Last year Pifco water mist spray fans hit the shelves of Home Bargains and costed just £1.99.

One shopper posted a photo of the find on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.

She said: “Water Mist Spray Fan JUST £1.99 at Home Bargains…”

Others responded quickly to the find with one person saying: “I’ve had them before, they’re really good.”

Another said: “I need to stock up for summer!”

“Feel like we might need these on holiday,” said a third shopper.

The fans were available in-store for £1.99 but shoppers can also bag the gadget on the Home Bargains website.

In March we told how The Works shoppers will not be able to collect points on its “Together Rewards” scheme after tomorrow (Saturday, March 30).

The scheme, which first launched in 2013, allows shoppers to collect five points for every pound spent in stores or online.

Over time shoppers rack up these points and receive money-off vouchers to use in stores.

The retailer sent out an email to all customers in February informing them of the news.
