86,000 sq metres of land slipped away, debris travelled 8 km along Iruvanjippuzha river: ISRO satellite images reveal
Satellite imagery from Isro's NRSC showcased the severe impact of landslides in Wayanad, Kerala. The event caused 86,000 square metres of land to slide, spreading debris over 8km and affecting towns along the Iruvanjippuzha river. The landslide started near Chooralmala, a previously identified high-risk area.
