Sam Asghari Opens Up About Britney Spears Divorce & Relationship Status

Sam Asghari is opening up about life after his divorce from Britney Spears.

The 30-year-old actor and the 42-year-old pop princess separated in August 2023 after just under a year of marriage. They finalized their divorce earlier this year.

In a new interview, Sam revealed what he had learned from his split, what he thought about his time with Britney and if he’s dating now.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Sam said that he learned a lot from his time with the pop star.

“It’s definitely something that I learned so much from the past, and that’s something that was a college crash course on how cruel some people in Hollywood could be,” he admitted, noting that he wasn’t dissing Britney.

He continued, saying, “I only celebrate the past. I always like to appreciate the past, celebrate the past and that’s just a big part of me. I’m always going to be that type of person.”

When asked if he was dating, Sam had a silly response: “Right now, I’m dating a very high-maintenance girl and, you know, I have to get her nails done and take her to the dog park and feed her good food and get her really nice treats. That is what I’m focused on at the moment,” he said, describing his dog.

Instead of dating, he’s focused on his work life, which he said will “require 100 percent” of his time.

“My goals are always the opposite of my personality,” Sam added. “That’s gonna require a lot of time, so I’m not really focusing on [dating] at the moment.”

Britney also recently reflected on life after the couple’s split. She also revealed her relationship status.
