Aaron Taylor-Johnson Nearly Unrecognizable After Debuting New Look

Many of the generally positive comments were too NSFW to be repeated.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson shed his the beard and shaggy hair he's been rocking for a while now, and gave fans a glimpse of his new look this week, lest anyone need a reminder of the 34-year-old's incredible bone structure.

The Fall Guy star shared stark before and after photos to Instagram on Thursday, writing "From one look … to another." In the "before" photo on the left, Taylor-Johnson could be seen in a pink linen button-down shirt, unbuttoned down to his chest, along with a couple of pendants, aviator sunglasses, and slicked back hair with a bushy beard. Compare that to the "after" gym mirror selfie on the right, in which he wore an orange tank top, shorter-dropped hair, and beard stubble.

Although the British actor posted the back-to-back images to his Instagram story, which meant that they disappeared after 24 hours, it didn't take long for them to surface on X, formerly Twitter. "Aaron Taylor-Johnson debuts clean-shaven look," posted the Pop Base account.

Suffice to say, fans are on board, if the comments to the post are any indication. Though much of the response was too NSFW to be repeated, one user simply wrote: "would before and after." "Somewhere in the middle would be perfect, nice little scruff," added another fan.

At least one fan weighed in that they were less concerned about Taylor-Johnson's physical appearance. "As long as we're still getting Kraven, I don't care how much facial hair he has," the user wrote, referring to his titular role in Marvel's upcoming Kraven the Hunter, set for theatrical release in the United States on Dec. 13, 2024.

Prior to his apparent makeover, Taylor-Johnson debuted a fresh-faced look on the cover of the June 2024 issue of GQ Mexico. With his upcoming film Nosferatu likewise hitting theaters in December and the horror sequel 28 Years Later arriving next summer, it seems as though his red-hot career is not slowing down anytime soon.
