ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) - In June, Beignet Bellies held its official grand opening at its new location near the MVP Arena on Pearl Street. The restaurant offers sweet and savory beignets, in addition to other New Orleans-inspired cuisine.

Owner Josita Walker originally opened the eatery in August 2023 on New Scotland Avenue before closing to relocate due to staffing and location issues. Walker says she was drawn to the new location because of the anticipated foot traffic being close to the MVP Arena.

Beignet Bellies is located on 51 South Peart Street (Suite 5) in Albany.
