Florida man arrested, charged with sexually explicit behavior with minors in Calcasieu Parish
A resident of Sarasota County in Florida was arrested on charges of inappropriate sexual behavior with minors in Calcasieu Parish, authorities said.
LAKE CHARLES, La. (KLFY) -- A resident of Florida was arrested on charges of inappropriate sexual behavior with minors in Calcasieu Parish, authorities said.
Dawson Hassell, 25, of Sarasota County, Florida allegedly sent sexually explicit videos to minors in Calcasieu Parish via social media on Feb. 19, officials said. The victims ranged in age from 12 to 16 years old, authorities said.
With the assistance of Florida authorities, Hassel was arrested July 17 in Sarasota County and was extradited to Calcasieu Parish on Monday.
Hassell was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and was charged with six counts of indecent behavior with juveniles.
Hassell's bond is set at $350,000.
