FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Good Friday Evening,

Rain showers and storms will be around for the evening hours tonight, with again, some pockets of heavy rainfall possible. Most of this activity will wane by midnight tonight with gradual clearing in the skies, and winds relaxing to become near calm. Expect patchy fog to form overnight tonight as the ground is actually wet it a lot of our area for the first time in a long time. Lows tonight will dip to the upper 60s.

Saturday, expect the patchy fog to lift, giving way to a mix of clouds in the morning, with a few isolated showers possible by midday. The main area of coverage for rain and storms will push east as we progress through the day on Saturday, with highs back near normal in the middle 80s.

Saturday night, thing will start to clear out across our area, with lows dropping into the upper 60s. Again, some patchy fog will be possible late Saturday night into Sunday, as the dewpoint depression might only be a degree or two at most with light to calm winds.

Sunday expect clearing skies, and a hotter day, with highs back around 90. We will stay mostly sunny on Monday with highs in the lower 90s. A weak front will drop down into our area by late Tuesday into Tuesday night. Ahead of the front we will warm efficiently, with highs in the lower 90s, and a few storms late. We will hold a chance of storms for Tuesday night, and give way to partly cloudy skies and a more seasonal day on Wednesday, with highs in the middle 80s.

Nicer & drier weather is expected for Thursday and Friday of next week, with highs in the middle 80s and lows in the lower 60s. As of right now, what is currently Potential Tropical Depression 4, should be Tropical Storm Debby, as it moves up the east coast of the US, and should not have a direct impact on our area. However, this will be monitored for any potential changes in its path.
