Katy Perry stuns crowd in tiny bikini as singer dances up a storm in shock appearance at Ibiza nightclub
KATY Perry has shocked fans with her NSFW outfit during a surprise appearance in Ibiza.
Over the last few weeks, the pop music singer has been busy promoting her upcoming album 143.
Earlier this week, Katy, 39, surprised the crowd at Pacha nightclub in Ibiza.
The former American Idol judge dressed in an all-red ensemble with her hair and makeup perfectly executed.
Katy donned a small triangle bikini top that displayed major cleavage while wearing matching bikini bottoms that hugged her hips.
On top of her bottoms, she had on a low-rise skirt.
During her appearance, she showed off her dance moves on stage with other dancers as well as indulging in a slice of pizza.
MIXED FEELINGS
At the start of her 143 era, she released her highly-anticipated single Woman’s World, but received backlash.
In the music video, Katy channeled her inner Rosie the Riveter while donning a red, white, and blue bikini top while dancing with other women.
Many fans did not like her video and called it “feminism gone wrong.”
One said, “This is what a feminist video clip would look like if made by a guy.”
“This feels like a parody of feminism gone wrong,” stated a second.
Later, Katy addressed the backlash, labeling the video as “very slapstick” and “sarcastic.”
Meanwhile, fans also got the ick after learning that the lead single was produced by Dr. Luke following the legal feud with Kesha.
The Joyride hitmaker said that Dr. Luke allegedly sexually assaulted and harassed her among other claims.
In June 2023, both teams revealed they reached a settlement.
Katy’s album 143 is set to be released on September 20.
GOODBYE IDOL
To focus on other projects, Katy revealed in February that she was leaving American Idol.
This week, it was finally revealed who would be taking her spot as a judge alongside Luke Bryan, 47, and Lionel Richie, 74.
On Thursday, it was reported that Season 4 Idol winner Carrie Underwood, 41, would be Katy’s replacement.
In a report from TMZ, sources revealed that the Before He Cheats hitmaker was in the final stages of a deal with ABC.
On Friday, the news was confirmed on Good Morning America as Carrie was a guest and performer.
