Bhumi Pujan of semiconductor assembly and test facility at Jagiroad

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran initiated a major semiconductor assembly and test facility in Assam. With an investment of Rs 27,000 crore, this project is set to transform the region’s industrial landscape, creating over 30,000 jobs and catering to markets such as AI and consumer electronics.
