‘This is scary’ people wince after woman copies Kendall Jenner’s ‘hidden’ tattoo but it goes horribly wrong
A WOMAN has been left instantly regretting her trendy tattoo after it went totally wrong.
The inking should’ve been totally hidden, but it ended up being front and centre on her face, leaving her in tears.
The tattoo, which reads ‘meow’, should’ve been on the inside of the woman’s bottom lip.
But somehow it ended up on the outside – not exactly hidden.
Posting the experience on TikTok, the tattoo hopeful shared a video detailing “how it started” with a snap of her looking slightly nervous in moments before getting the inking.
But the design ended up being loads bigger than she could’ve anticipated, not to mention on the outer part of her bottom lip.
In the second snap of the woman can be seen in tears over the fail.
Instantly regretting the decision, she booked in to get the design lasered off.
But after the first session the tattoo had only faded slightly.
The video quickly went viral on social media, leaving people baffled as to how the inking went so wrong.
“This is the first time I’ve ever seen someone mess up an inner lip tattoo and it’s scary,” one person commented.
A second agreed: “This is so bad girl, I’m sorry.”
“Time to test out full coverage lipsticks,” another said.
And someone else added: “How did you not realise it was in the wrong place before?!”
But others thought the woman must’ve known the design wasn’t hidden when she got it, and a tattoo artist even noted: “As a tattoo artist, she knew. I order to get a bottom lip tattoo you actually have to hold your lip flipped out.”
The tattoo design should’ve been the same as Kendall Jenner‘s hidden tattoo, which she previously she got when drunk.
Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show back in 2018, the reality star and model explained: “I was drunk. I was not thinking clearly”.
Before showing off her tattooed lip on the show, the TV host asked why she chose the word “meow” but the supermodel said she didn’t give it that much thought.
Kendall said: “Literally, it was the first thing that came to my mind. My drunk thoughts!”

Tattoos done on a whim are far more likely to lead to regret than a tattoo you thought long and hard about. Think about why you want what you’ve chosen. And if you still want it after a few months, then get it.

When you go to a tattoo shop the price is the price. You are paying for an artist’s time and skills, they charge what they believe those things are worth.
4. Don’t get tattooed while you’re hungry
Eat before you go for your tattoo session and make sure you’re hydrated. You’re about to be subjected to a period of sustained physical discomfort, if you’re feeling a little weak from hunger or you’re dehydrated things will not go as smoothly as they should.
5. Don’t drink alcohol before you get tattooed
If you are drunk or under the influence of drugs, don’t go for a tattoo. In fact, if your tattooist has anything at all about them they will turn you away if you are clearly under the influence of any intoxicating substances. I’d also avoid drinking the night before, even a few drinks will thin your blood and make your bleed more.
