New 'lethal' disease variant spreading 'unchecked' and could affect hundreds of thousands

Experts warn that not enough has been done to prevent the spread of 'mpox' since an outbreak in 2022 and now a new 'lethal' variant with a mortality rate of one in 10 is spreading
