Mizoram, Assam to hold meeting on Aug 9 to resolve border dispute

Officials from Mizoram and Assam met on August 9 in Aizawl to discuss their long-standing border dispute. The Mizoram delegation was led by Home Minister K. Sapdanga, while Assam's team was headed by Border Protection Minister Atul Bora. Previous agreements were reviewed, and both states agree to maintain peace and continue economic activities along the border.
