HC upholds order accepting cancellation report in BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain rape case

The Delhi High Court has upheld an order that accepted a cancellation report filed by the police in relation to a complaint against BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, which alleged rape and criminal intimidation. The decision was made by Justice Neena Bansal Krishna, who stated that there was no infirmity in the order passed by the additional sessions judge (ASJ), dismissing the complainant's revision petition challenging the December 2023 order.
