Sources Allege How Ant Anstead’s GF Renee Zellweger Feels About His Ex Christina Hall Being Single Again

Ant Anstead and Renee Zellweger have been on Cloud 9 since they first got together, and have been seemingly crazy about one another. However, insiders claim Zellweger is feeling a little uneasy now that Anstead’s ex-wife, Christina Hall, is single again.

Sources recently told Life & Style Magazine that Zellweger is worried about Hall, who is currently in a shocking divorce with her third husband Joshua Hall.

“Renée is very wary of Christina. She’s not only drop-dead gorgeous, she also shares a child with Ant, so they do have to stay in constant communication,” an insider said. “No matter how often he says there are no feelings left between them, it’s hard not to be threatened, especially because she knows he was totally devastated when his marriage ended.”

For those who don’t know, Christina and Anstead were married from 2018 to 2021, and welcomed a son named Hudson in Sept 2019.

“He swears he’s long past that and has no interest in ever getting back together with Christina, but Renée’s been betrayed in the past so it’s hard not to be on the lookout,” says the insider, referring to how she claimed “fraud” in her brief marriage to Kenny Chesney.

“It wasn’t an issue when Christina was happily married but now that she’s single Renée is panicked that she’ll set her sights on Ant again,” the insider added. “Everyone is telling [Renée] not to worry, that Ant only has eyes for her, but it has brought up a lot of anxiety for her and she can’t help but feel it pays to watch her back.”

For those who don’t know, Anstead and Zellweger started dating in June 2021, keeping an incredibly low profile, despite being two A-list stars. (Fun fact: the Property Brothers previously stated they were the unofficial wingmen of this celebrity relationship, watching it blossom right in front of their eyes!)

In a previous interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the Case 39 actress made rare comments about her relationship, calling it a “gift” from her late friend Nanci Ryder. When asked if meeting Anstead was divine intervention, she said: “Yeah, we do joke about that. She’s always doing her best. It made me smile. It made me smile to think on this, yeah, the serendipity of it all.”
