He also owns Most Valuable Promotions and represents boxers including Amando Serrano.

Paul’s organisation have put on a number of events and he has now invited Italian Carini to compete on one of his undercards.

It comes after the Italian was defeated by the boxer at the heart of the gender row storm, Imane Khelif, in the first round of the Olympics.

Carini quit after just 46 seconds and after the bout said she had “never felt a punch like it”.

Paul reached out to the athlete, saying: “To Angela Carini although your dreams couldn’t come true today because of the crazy agendas that are at play in our world at the moment, I would love to offer you to fight on an MVP undercard, to show the world your talents on a fair platform and not against a man.

“Internet help this find her.”

Carini, 25, broke down after her defeat and fell to her knees inside the ring before crying.

Carini then revealed: “After the second one (punch landed) I couldn’t breathe anymore.

Piers Morgan has his say

This is a more complicated case than the barrage of shameful transgender scandals which have engulfed women’s sport in recent years.

Khelif reportedly has a condition called Swyer Syndrome which means she has some female reproductive organs but also much higher levels of testosterone than women.

As a result, she has a superior physicality to females, which can be seen by her tall, powerful frame.

In other words, she has an unfair advantage.

And that’s why there’s been such a furious response, led by JK Rowling, Elon Musk, and Martina Navratilova, to the footage of Carini quitting after being smashed in the face.

The obvious, indisputable, medical, and scientific, truth is that someone born with male biology of any kind has an obvious physical advantage over biological females.

That’s why we keep the sexes apart in the Olympics.

Otherwise, women would barely win a single medal.

To pretend otherwise is to be either utterly deluded or wilfully dishonest.

“I went to my coach and said ‘enough’ because it takes maturity and courage to stop. I didn’t feel like fighting anymore.”

Khelif, 25, is one of two athletes who have been cleared to compete in the women’s boxing, having been disqualified from last year’s Women’s World Championships for failing to meet eligibility criteria.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) said Khelif was disqualified in New Delhi for failing a testosterone level test.

But she was cleared to compete in the Olympics and is now guaranteed at least a bronze medal after beating Hungarian Anna Luca Hamori in the quarter-final.

IOC President Thomas Bach defended her inclusion, stating: “We are talking about women’s boxing.

“We have two boxers who are born as a woman, who were raised as women, who have passport as woman who have competed for many years as women. This is the clear definition of a woman.”
