The pick, The Anthropologists by Aysegül Savas, is now on sale.
This 192-page book follows the main characters, Asya and Manu, who are apartment hunting in a foreign city. With each new apartment comes an idea of what their lives and their daily rituals would look like. Author Aysegül Savas shows readers what modern love looks like, as well as how growth looks like as you grow older and away from your family.
Along with being a Dakota Johnson x TeaTime Book Club Pick, it’s a New York Times Book Review Editors’ Choice Selection; and it was only just released last month.
For those who don’t know, earlier this year, Johnson revealed how she was working to create a book club people can go to for beautiful reads. “TeaTime and I have an Instagram channel where you can have a chat with whoever signs up, and every few days we’ll be releasing a deep dive as we read along together,” she told Bustle.
