Pet-friendly affordable housing lottery opens in the Upper East Side
UPPER EAST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) – A new affordable housing lottery has opened up for a building in the Upper East Side a few blocks away from Central Park.
The affordable housing lottery is for the 83rd and 2nd Apartments at 300 East 83rd Street.
The building offers 28 units, including studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. Some of the building’s amenities include bike storage lockers, a gymnasium, and washers and dryers in units.
Apartments are pet-friendly. One pet is allowed per apartment under 50 pounds at full maturity.
The property is listed on the NYC Housing Connect website, an online portal where people can find and apply for affordable housing opportunities in New York City.
Applications for the 83rd and 2nd Apartments will remain open until Sept. 30. The eligible income range is $59,280 - $218,010.
