When a pint is not a pint

During my visit to a Protaras hotel, I was very surprised when I paid for a pint, and I received a transparent plastic glass of 400 ml. When I told the waiter that this was not a pint, the feedback was that the hotel has only 400ml plastic glasses and that he was just an employee. So, on the fourth glass the hotel gains a glass. It’s everywhere the same in the tourist area.
I do not mind paying more, but a pint is not 400ml.
