Pune rains: Army deployed after Khadakwasla dam discharge inundates city areas

The Indian Army assisted with flood relief in Pune after heavy rainfall led to water being released from Khadakwasla dam. Over 100 personnel, including engineers and medical staff, were deployed to evacuate residents from the flooded Ekta Nagar area. Further heavy rainfall is forecast for Maharashtra by the India Meteorological Department.
