What We’re Tracking

  • Heating back up for Monday
  • Mid week cool down
  • Limited rain chances

Temperatures this morning are in the upper 60s with a few spots holding on to some lower 70s. Winds are light from the east, causing some patchy dense fog to develop. It should burn off fairly quickly as the sun continues to rise across the area.

Our warming trend continues for our Sunday with highs reaching into the upper 90s. Dew points will remain in the lower 60s, allowing humidity to stay lower and bearable. Heat index values will reach into the lower 100's for many though. Winds from the south will only bring up additional warm air for Monday.

The hottest day looks to be Monday with temperatures climbing into the upper 90s and some spots even looking at lower 100s. Overall, we stay dry and quiet the next several days before cooler air moves in from the north late on Monday into early Tuesday.

The extreme heat doesn't last long this time around with cooler temperatures coming into play Tuesday afternoon. Highs will drop into the upper 80s midweek. We could even see low 80s by Friday and overnight lows in the upper 50s Saturday morning!
