‘We can do something big’ – Kulusevski says Tottenham can achieve ‘anything’ this season
Dejan Kulusevski refuses to put a limit on what Tottenham Hotspur can achieve this season as the club continue their preparation for the 2024-25 campaign.
What can Tottenham achieve this season?
Even though last season ended disappointingly for Spurs, who were pipped to a fourth-place finish by Aston Villa, overall, the season was considered to be a relatively successful one, given that it was Ange Postecoglou’s first year in charge.
The Australian arrived at N17 at a time when the club looked a shambles both on and off the pitch, coming off a disappointing eight-place finish under Antonio Conte the previous year.
The 58-year-old successfully oversaw the transition from a counter-attacking outfit to a possession-based, attacking style of play.
Dejan Kulusevski says the sky is the limit
The majority of the squad are now aware of what the manager and the coaching staff expect from that and Kulusevski believes that the familiarity with the tactics will hold the side in good stead for the upcoming season.
The winger told Football.London: “Yeah, honestly, we are more confident, we know them, we know the staff, the manager and this season I think we believe more that we can do something big.”
When asked what it is that Tottenham can achieve during the 2024-25 season, The Swede confidently responded: “Anything”.

Unlike his predecessors, Postecoglou is evidently not one to play down expectations and he is not afraid of voicing his ambitions to the squad or publicly.
That has clearly rubbed off on the players, who seemingly believe that they can compete with the best teams in the Premier League.
