PHOTOS: Crews battle Northeast Portland 'heavy' house fire with downed power lines
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A house fire with downed power lines in Northeast Portland prompted response from Portland Fire & Rescue crews early Sunday morning.
Just before 2 a.m., crews responded to reports of a house on fire on the 5500 block of Northeast 27th Avenue.
On arrival, they found heavy fire burning in the single story house, as well as the downed power lines.
Authorities say firefighters worked quickly to put out the blaze and search for anyone inside.
The fire was extinguished within 10 minutes of crews arriving and there were no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
