Zimbabwe’s T20I skipper Sikandar Raza shared his thought son playing for Pakistan if given the chance to do so. Raza, who was born in Sialkot, Pakistan, has said that he has no intentions to switch his teams and he will stay loyal to Zimbabwe cricket.

Raza was one of the performers who would always stand out for Zimbabwe during the recently concluded 5-match T20I series against India.

During a recent Q and A session with his followers on social media, Raza was questioned whether he would take up the opportunity if he is invited to represent Pakistan. Raza replied by saying that he will stay committed to Zimbabwe cricket for all the resources they’ve invested on him.

An account that goes by name of Umar Farooq Khan asked Sikandar about this question and for his thoughts about playing for both the countries. Sikandar replied to the query very respectfully.

“Have you ever thought about playing for Pakistan? You could help resolve the middle-order batting woes,” Kalson wrote in his tweet for Sikandar to reply.

“I am born Pakistani and a product of Zimbabwe Cricket. I will only and ever represent Zimbabwe. Spent time and money on me and I am only trying to repay their faith and whatever I achieve will never even get close to repaying it. Zim is mine and am their fully,” Sikandar replied on the question.
