Britain’s top school for wannabe Mystic Megs hit with sudden staff walkout

STAFF at Britain’s top school for wannabe Mystic Megs are to walk out — and students have said: “We didn’t see it coming.”

Teachers at The Arthur Findlay College — where mediums fork out thousands for training — will down crystal balls in a zero-hours contract spat.

The tutors claim working conditions have become “untenable”.

At least 20 mystical scholars will strike for a day later this month.

One student told The Sun: “Nobody saw this coming.

“Many people have spent a lot of money to come here and there is a no refund policy so we are not sure what is going to happen.

“We don’t hold it against the tutors at all – they have just said enough is enough.”

The college in Stansted, Essex, was founded in 1964 according to the wishes of spiritual “father” Arthur Findlay.

Its courses cost more than £100 a day, with one promising to boost students’ “relationship with the Spirit World”.

Tutors added: “It is about allowing yourself time to focus on your own Soul and allowing yourself an opportunity to feel The Healing Power of Spirit.”

The Spirtualists’ National Union, which oversees the college, was asked to comment.
