Wayanad landslide: Kerala govt collects DNA samples, ration card details to identify missing people

The Kerala government is actively working to identify missing individuals following a devastating landslide in Wayanad district, collecting blood samples from survivors and relatives for DNA analysis. The health department is leading the effort, while the Civil Supplies Department is gathering ration card details and Aadhaar numbers to aid in this process. Authorities have recovered 221 bodies and 166 body parts, with 180 individuals still missing.
