Royal Experts Claim King Charles Hasn’t Been Fighting for Prince Andrew’s Eviction for Two Major Reasons

Years later, in Aug 2024, Prince Andrew is still living in the Royal Lodge, despite King Charles III reportedly trying time and time again to evict him. Now, it seems it’s a low priority for Charles due to both him and Catherine, Princess of Wales, both being diagnosed with cancer.

Royal expert Christopher Andersen told Fox News that Andrew is reportedly still living in the ultra-lavish $38 million Royal Lodge, and refuses to go to Frogmore Cottage.

“Andrew isn’t going anywhere for the time being. It’s doubtful that King Charles — who, along with his daughter-in-law Kate Middleton, is battling cancer — is in the mood for a knockdown drag-out with his brother,” Anderson said.

“If and when Andrew does move, it will simply be because he doesn’t have the money to heat Royal Lodge or keep the lights on,” Andersen added. “In the meantime, Frogmore will likely remain empty. [And] it’s worth noting that the King had better luck evicting Andrew from Buckingham Palace, where the Duke of York has maintained his private apartment for decades.”

Right now, the family is more focused on everyone’s health, but many experts claim that the eviction is still on Charles’ mind, especially since Andrew was proven to be pals with pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein back in 2019.

For only the second time in its history the UK celebrates the Diamond Jubilee of a monarch. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II celebrates the 60th anniversary of her ascension to the throne. Thousands of wellwishers from around the world have flocked to London to witness the spectacle of the weekend's celebrations. (

Back in 2004, Andrew signed a 75-year lease for the Royal Lodge, so he’s allegedly sticking to that as his legal means to stay. However, if Charles does refocus on prioritizing that, it’s rumored Catherine and Prince William’s family will relocate from Adelaide Cottage to the Royal Lodge. (And before Andrew, and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson moved in there, the Queen Mother lived there).

Now, in Oct 2023, Andrew was reportedly granted permission to stay, on the grounds that he had to give over around $2 million in repairs. However, per New York Outlet, he’s been neglecting this. So it’s all up in the air.
