Eric Adams’ illegal pot shop crackdown sparks official probe by Brad Lander as the two face off for NYC mayor

The race for mayor is turning to pot. City Comptroller Brad Lander -- now a candidate for City Hall  -- is launching a probe into rival Mayor Eric Adams' administration's  "Operation Padlock" program that has closed about 800 unlicensed cannabis shops in the city since May.
