Clear and windy, chance of showers

Monday will be mostly clear with some low clouds on the coasts and a chance of brief afternoon showers in the mountains. Temperatures will rise to 38C in the interior, 32C on the west and southwest coasts, 36C on the remaining coasts, and 31C in the higher mountains. Winds will be south-to north-westerly, initially light to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort, later turning to strong, up to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be rough.

Overnight will be mostly clear with low coastal cloud cover, especially in the west and north. Temperatures will drop to 22C in the interior, 24C on the coast, and 20C in the higher mountains. Winds will remain south-to north-westerly, initially light to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort, later abating to 3 Beaufort. The sea will gradually calm.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, will be mostly clear with some locally increased clouds. Temperature in the coming days will remain steady, close to and slightly above the average for the season.
