Watch: Lewis Hamilton With Snoop Dogg And Nina Dobrev Root For USA At Paris Olympics 2024

New Delhi: At the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024, the grandstands at the Grand Palais welcomed several high-profile celebrities, including Formula 1 legend Lewis Hamilton, Hollywood star Nina Dobrev, and rap icon Snoop Dogg. The trio’s enthusiastic support for Team USA added a touch of star power to the already electrifying atmosphere of the Games.

Lewis Hamilton who is currently having a summer break from his F1 commitments came here to support his close friend Miles Chamley-Watson who is an American Fencer. The Mercedes driver has often spoken about his friendship with Chamley-Watson, a bond evident in their numerous public appearances together over the years.

The two have been spotted enjoying vacations together, from soaking up the sun in Australia to donning Mario costumes in Japan. Chamley-Watson, who secured a bronze medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016 with the USA’s men’s team foil, returned to the Grand Palais to compete for another Olympic medal.

Speaking to Olympic.com prior to the games, Chamley-Watson highlighted the importance of his bond with Hamilton, stating “We love taking trips together. I think that’s what helps me in my sports life is keeping my mind free in the off-season.”

In an interview with CNN, Lewis Hamilton expressed his admiration for Chamley-Watson’s dedication and hinted at his own Olympic aspirations. He humbly admitted that he currently lacks the skills to compete at that level in sports like surfing or fencing, but he didn’t entirely rule out the possibility of participating in the Olympics one day, saying, “Maybe I’ll do an Olympic sport one day.”

Adding to the excitement, Snoop Dogg, dubbed the unofficial mascot of Team USA at these Games, was also present at the fencing event. His involvement in the Olympics has been a highlight, especially after he carried the Olympic torch before the opening ceremony.

Since then, Snoop has attended various events across Paris, including gymnastics, where he watched Simone Biles and her teammates clinch gold, and the dressage competition, despite his well-known fear of horses.
