One injured in shooting at NW OKC apartment complex

One person was injured in a shooting at a northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex Monday morning, police say.

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - One person was injured in a shooting at a northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex Monday morning, police say.

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, officers responded to a complex near Western Ave. and Hefner Rd. just after midnight.

Officials say someone shot into an apartment and hit a woman twice. She was taken to nearby hospital and is expected to survive.

It is unclear what led to the shooting but police say they have a suspect in custody.
