Kerry Katona reveals shock baby news following scan after saying fiance Ryan ‘could leave her’ if he wanted a child
KERRY Katona has revealed shock baby news just months after telling fiance Ryan Mahoney to “leave her” if he wants children.
The 43-year-old is mum to Molly, 21, Lilly-Sue, 20, Heidi, 16, Max, 14, and eight year old DJ from previous relationships.
In February former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry told how she’d ruled out having baby number six, despite Ryan having no biological children of his own.
However it seems she’s made a U-turn after discovering she is still able to carry a child.
Kerry had been in hospital following a cancer scare and said: “When I went for my scan last week and got the all-clear, I was told that I’ve still got follicles – meaning I could have another baby.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, she continued: “I don’t think I would have another one, but Ryan keeps changing his mind! If he wants another one then that’s fine, but we need to get a move on.”
It comes after Kerry confessed she was so against having a baby she’d advised Ryan to leave her if he wanted one.
She said: “I don’t want to deprive him – in fact, I’ve given him a pass and said ‘if this is something you want to pursue leave me now!’
“I never want someone to not have that feeling of having their own child.”
Last month Kerry also revealed she and Ryan had been forced to cancel their wedding plans.
The couple have been engaged for three years and had planned to elope to Vegas to tie the knot.
But Kerry confessed her eldest daughters Lilly-Sue and Molly – who she shares with ex-husband Brian McFadden – insisted they wanted to be there when she and Ryan said ‘I do’.
She said: “Ryan and I were looking to go to Vegas to finally get married but Molly and Lilly said, ‘Don’t you dare do that without us’.
“I told them they’d already been at too many of my weddings! That put those plans on the backburner.
