Simone Biles Wins Silver for Women's Gymnastics Floor Final, Places in 5th for Balance Beam in Final Events

Simone Biles has just finished her 2024 Olympics and ended her games with a silver medal!

On Monday (August 5) in Paris, France, the 27-year-old superstar gymnast competed in her final two events. She won the silver in the Women’s Gymnastics floor final, and came in 5th place in the balance beam.

Her Team USA teammates, Sunisa Lee and Jordan Chiles, also competed today in some events today. Sunisa came in 6th in the balance beam and Jordan won bronze in the floor final.

Balance beam medals went to Italy’s Alice D’Amato, who won gold, China’s Yaqin Zhou, who won silver, and Italy’s Manila Esposito who won bronze. Both Simone and Suni fell off the beam during their portion. Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade won gold in the floor final.
