The United Rugby Championship (URC) fixtures for the 2023/24 season has been confirmed in full ahead of the October 21 kick off.The tournament organisers have released the full schedule 102 days ahead of the opening match – the earliest release of the league’s fixtures in the competition’s history.Six games will take place on the opening day of the league’s 23rd season, kicking off on Saturday, October 21, followed by a further two on Sunday, October 22.Defending URC champions, Munster begin their title defence on the opening day when they host the Sharks from Durban at Thomond Park.The first fixture of the regular season will take place in Italy when Zebre host Ulster before Connacht clash with Ospreys at the same time that the Lions and Stormers contest the first derby of the year.In Wales, the Dragons host Edinburgh, while Cardiff welcome Benetton to the Arms Park.
