Patriots Attendance: Three Offensive Players Return After Off Day
FOXBORO, Mass. -- Patriots wide receiver Tyquan Thornton has been one of the surprises of training camp thus far, and will have an opportunity to continue earning a roster spot.
Thornton returned Monday, keeping his list of practice absences to just one after missing Saturday. Calvin Anderson and Jaheim Bell each returned, as well, with the former missing just one practice.
Bell missed four practices and wore full pads for the first time Monday.
Chukwuma Okorafor missed his second consecutive practice, though he was in attendance wearing sweats and a jersey. Okorafor had been repping with the top offensive line throughout the first eight practices, and his absence opens up a spot.
Here's the full absence list:
DT Christian Barmore
CB Marcus Jones
S Joshuah Bledsoe
S Marte Mapu
OT Chukwuma Okorafor
LB Sione Takitaki (PUP)
OL Jake Andrews (PUP)
OL Cole Strange (PUP)
WR Kendrick Bourne (PUP)
Shaun Wade shed his red non-contact jersey, participating in full for the first time during camp. DeMario Douglas, despite his best efforts, was still rocking the red.
