Topeka hospital expands with new location

TOPEKA (KSNT) - A Topeka hospital is expanding to a new part of the Capital City this week with the acquisition of a new building.

The University of Kansas Health System announced in a press release on Monday, Aug. 5 that it is expanding into the north Topeka area after acquiring the old Sunflower Prompt Care located at 3405 NW Hunters Ridge Terrace. This is now being renamed The University of Kansas Health System Family Medicine.

This location will be open and offering primary care Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. where patients can experience the same level of care found at other associated health centers with The University of Kansas. This new location brings the St. Francis Campus up to six primary care locations in the Topeka area with another located in Valley Falls.

This expansion reflects our dedication to improving health outcomes and enhancing patient well-being.”
