'Best pizza in Columbus' opens second location in Galloway

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- A pizzeria once voted as "the best pizza in Columbus" has opened its second location in Galloway.

Casa di Pizza opened its store at 338 Hubbard Road on Wednesday, it announced on Facebook. The pizza shop's other location is at 2986 McKinley Ave. near Upper Arlington.

"Don't miss out on the chance to experience the taste of Casa Di Pizza at our newest spot," the post said.

Unusual items on Casa di Pizza's menu include its Paneer Tikka Masala, Casa Gyro, Ziggy's Steakhouse and Kitchen Sink pizzas. In addition to pizza, its offerings include stromboli, burgers, baby back ribs, gyros and appetizers like ultimate nachos, mozzarella sticks and vegetable samosas. The menu also has options for customers on a halal diet.

In 2023, Casa di Pizza was voted by Restaurant Guru as the best pizza in Columbus, according to the pizzeria's website. It also claimed to have won the judges choice for best pizza at a central Ohio event called Slice of Columbus.

"We never compromise quality and work hard every day to balance old traditional artisan baking methods with modern techniques and creativity," the Casa di Pizza website said.
