SP: Glens Falls man arrested for child sex abuse images

State Police announced the arrest of a Glens Falls man for allegedly having and promoting child sex abuse images.

GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- State Police announced the arrest of a Glens Falls man for allegedly having and promoting child sex abuse images. Jason Barnes, 32, faces two charges related to this allegation.

• Promoting a sexual performance by a child
• Possessing a sexual performance by a child

State Police arrested Barnes on Friday after receiving a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and executing a search warrant of his home in Glens Falls. Barnes was arraigned in Glens Falls City Court and released.
