Cate Blanchett Adds Wild Flair to Denim Ensemble With Reptile Print Louboutins for ‘Good Morning America’ Appearance

Cate Blanchett showed off a stylish take on the denim-on-denim look for an appearance on “Good Morning America” on Aug. 5, matching a statement belt to reptile print leather heels.
Blanchett is currently promoting her upcoming project “Borderlands,” a sci-fi film set to release Aug. 9. For her “GMA” interview, Blanchett paired a long sleeve collared button-down shirt with a pair of wide-leg jeans, both items in a medium blue wash. The shirt had a utilitarian quality with four fold-over pockets in each corner. A focal point of the outfit was a dark leather belt with a large wooden heart ornament in the center outlined in gold. Blanchett accessorized the intelligent look with a pair of thick-framed aviator glasses.
The Oscar winner rounded out the outfit with a pair of patent leather stilettos, coordinating her footwear with her belt. The glossy shoes featured a reptilian print in a hue of burnt sienna, tying in with the aforementioned wooden heart ornament. The heels appeared to be Christian Louboutin’s Kate Croco Red Sole Classic Pumps, which are available in a black option in addition to brown, both sold for $845 from Neiman Marcus.
In the brand’s classic Kate pump silhouette, the crocodile-embossed shoes feature a 3.25-inch stiletto heel, a sharply pointed toe and Louboutin’s signature red bottom sole.
The “Lord of the Rings” actress has shown her love of reptile print shoes before — she opted for a pair of black loafers with reptile embossed detailing to attend a December 2023 screening of “Shayda.” More recently, Blanchett turned heads at the Cannes Film Festival wearing a gold gown with matching satin pumps. Also at the festival, she wore a unique pair of black and pink heels from Jean Paul Gaultier.
