Ben Affleck Nearly Unrecognizable With Bold New Look
The actor debuted his new look amid speculation into his marriage with Jennifer Lopez.
Ben Affleck debuted a dramatic new look over the weekend amid his rumored impending divorce from Jennifer Lopez. On Saturday, the 51-year-old was spotted out in Los Angeles sporting a faux-hawk hairstyle with the sides of his head shaved, as well as a pair of aviator-style sunglasses, Red Hot Chili Peppers t-shirt, and black leather jacket.
He paired the biker-chic look with a pair of grey jeans and black boots. It's unclear whether the makeover is for an upcoming film role. Most recently, Affleck has been filming The Accountant 2, the sequel to his 2016 action thriller, alongside returning stars Jon Bernthal, J. K. Simmons, and Cynthia Addai-Robinson.

As the internet caught wind of Affleck's new look, the jokes practically wrote themselves. Many people naturally drew comparisons to Travis Bickle, Robert De Niro's character in the 1976 film Taxi Driver. Of course, there were also plenty of quips about his marital woes. "We're reaching levels of divorced never before seen by man," posted one user.

Although neither Affleck or Lopez have publicly commented about their marriage, speculation has reached overdrive as the couple have spent much of the summer apart. Lopez recently returned from the Hamptons, where she spent her 55th birthday after putting their Beverly Hills home up for sale, which they purchased in May 2023 nearly a year after marrying.
After listing their marital home, Affleck bought a new five bedroom house in Los Angeles for $20 million, so it seems as though it's only a matter of time before he and Lopez announce their split.
