Keith Urban Bought Nicole Kidman a Lambo. She Drives This Everyday Car Instead

Keith Urban bought her a Lambo, but she doesn't touch it.

Although Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are married, the two Australians have personal vehicle preferences that seemingly couldn't be more different. 

Kidman spoke about the roles of vehicles in her family in a conversation with Victoria Beckham for Vogue Australia. 

"My husband is a car person. I am not a car person," Kidman stated plainly. "I’m like, you can pick me up in anything, I’ll be happy. I do like a bit of air conditioning."

When Beckham asked what car she drives, Kidman explained that Urban treated her quite nicely to an expensive car. The only problem is she doesn't care to drive it. 

"Here’s the thing. My husband bought me a Lamborghini," she said. "But I drive a Subaru and he drives the Lamborghini."

Beckham, who grew up with her father driving a Rolls-Royce, pictured Kidman driving a Lamborghini sports car with the iconic scissor doors opening. But Kidman explained that Urban drives an Urus model with regular doors. 

Still, a luxury sports car, regardless of door type, is nothing to sneeze at. "I think that’s why he bought it for me…He loves fast cars, he loves any cars. That’s his thing," she said. "He’s a Queensland boy, came from nothing. Sort of the same thing as David [Beckham] where you go, 'I’m going to build myself up and make myself who I am.' Like you, like me."

Kidman is set to star in the new Netflix series The Perfect Couple premiering Sept. 5.
