Rare Item From Tom Brady’s Final Game Hits Auction Block

An iconic, ultra-rare piece of memorabilia from Brady's final game is currently on sale through Goldin 100 Auctions.

A rare piece of memorabilia from Tom Brady’s last Patriots game is hitting the auction block.

The football used in Brady’s final pass with the Patriots is currently on auction by Goldin 100 Auctions, with a starting bid of $100,000. Brady’s former Patriots teammate, two-time Super Bowl champ Logan Ryan, is auctioning off the piece. Part of the proceeds will benefit the Ryan Animal Rescue Foundation, a charity Ryan runs with his wife, Ashley, which supports the animal welfare community through financial and educational resources and focuses on improving the lives of animals in shelters and rescues.

“This ball is more than just a keepsake. It's a chance to make a real difference,” Ryan said in a statement provided to Men’s Journal. “Together, we can turn Brady’s last pass as a Patriot into a huge win for animals!”

“Presented is the official NFL Roger Goodell football that the NFL's greatest quarterback of all time, Tom Brady, delivered as his final pass as a member of the New England Patriots with 15 seconds left in the fourth quarter of the AFC Wild Card game on Jan. 4, 2020,” Goldin’s website reads.

The game in question, between the Patriots and the Tennessee Titans, pitted the former teammates against one another. In an unspectacular end to his iconic tenure with New England, Ryan intercepted Brady in the game’s final moments and clinched a win for Tennessee.

The football has been signed by Brady with a silver Sharpie. He also inscribed, “Last Pass as a Patriot,” “1/4/20,” and “Logan Ryan INT.” around his signature. The NFL’s 100th anniversary logo is stamped on one of the side laces; and in the panel below Brady’s signature, “8” and “35,” written in the same silver marker, sandwich a Patriots logo labeled “2019.”

“Additionally, the football comes with an LOA from Beckett for signature, plus a Letter of Provenance signed by the man who intercepted Brady and ran a pick-six, Logan Ryan, for authenticity,” Goldin advises.

You can head over to Goldin 100 Auctions to bid on the item.

The news of Brady’s final pass comes less than a week after late NBA legend Kobe Bryant’s final game jacket is on sale with SCP Auctions. Unlike Brady’s, Bryant’s final game was seen as a “Hollywood ending” to his storied career. He scored a whopping 60 points in the April 13, 2016 game against the Utah Jazz.
