City of Cushing orders emergency water rationing
City officials for the town of Cushing announced on Monday, an emergency proclamation for water rationing is in effect.
CUSHING, Okla. (KFOR) - City officials for the town of Cushing announced on Monday an emergency proclamation for water rationing is in effect.
According to city leaders, residents and businesses must conserve water until further notice.
The emergency order comes with the following conditions:
- Any water usage should be limited to essential use only
- Avoid doing laundry and other household uses of water
- Outside watering is strictly prohibited
The City of Cushing says it has had a problem at its water plant. At this time, the City of Cushing is recommending a voluntary boil order.
