Police investigate 'suspicious death' in SE Topeka
TOEPKA (KSNT) - Topeka police are investigating a "suspicious death" in southeast Topeka.
According to the Topeka Police Department (TPD), around 3:12 p.m. Aug. 5, officers responded to the 2400 block of Southeast Bellview Avenue in reference to a shooting. Once Topeka police arrived, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound. The individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
Topeka police are investigating this incident as a "suspicious death".
