Paris Olympics 2024 Day 11 Live Updates: Neeraj Chopra Bids To Enter Javelin Final

The moment that the entire nation has been waiting for in the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024 is finally here as Tokyo Games gold medallist and men’s javelin defending champion Neeraj Chopra will finally be in action on Day 11 on Tuesday (August 6). Neeraj will be part of Group B of men’s javelin qualification which will get underway at 3.20pm IST.

Another Indian javelin thrower – Kishore Jena – will look to join Neeraj in the final and will be competing from Group A, which gets underway at 1.50pm IST. The India men’s hockey team will also look to ensure at least a silver medal, their first since 1960 Rome Olympics, when they take on Germany in the semifinal match from 10.30pm IST.

Apart from these, veteran grappler Vinesh Phogat will look to take one last shot at glory when she steps on the mat in the 50kg pre-quarterfinal against Yui Suzuki of Japan. While in table tennis, the men’s team featuring veteran Achanta Sharath Kamal, Harmeet Desai and Manav Thakkar will be seen in action against China in the pre-quarterfinals.
