JB Gill shows off HUGE garden at £2m farmhouse that looks like a park – after it’s revealed he’s signed up to Strictly

JLS star JB Gill has the perfect pad to kick back and relax in during breaks from his intense Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals after his spot on the show was revealed.

The Everybody In Love hitmaker will be able to retreat to his plush £2million farmhouse in Kent which is surrounded by glorious 13-acre paddocks.

There’s also an outdoor swimming pool, stables and a cinema and recent proposals for a significant expansion of his idyllic countryside pad could soon include an “entertainment suite” and gym.

JB’s country pile has previously been likened to a “Grand Designs style” pad courtesy of its epic scale and interiors and he is likely to need his home comforts due to Strictly’s intense schedule.

The She Makes Me Wanna Vocalist was revealed as the third star for the 2024 line-up during an appearance on ITV daytime series This Morning on Monday.

The X Factor finalist said: “I danced in the Strictly Christmas special over a decade ago and loved it, so when I got the call to join Strictly this year, it was an immediate yes from me.

“I’m raring to go to and looking forward to showing off some new skills to the JLS boys.

“From muddy wellies on the fields of my farm to sequins and Glitterballs – I’m here to embrace it all!”

The fake tan and sequins will be a far cry from farm life.

After finding pop fame, JB embarked on a prestigious farming career.

He keeps pigs and chickens at the smallholding where he has successfully produced award-winning turkeys and free-range pork.

He bought his four-bedroom farmhouse for £1.2million in 2011.

It is now believed to be worth £2million, with three reception rooms and a master suite – not to mention the epic grounds which look like a park.

Previously, a conservatory sitting in his lush gardens was set to be demolished.

Fans got a glimpse of the place he calls home in an episode of ITV show, Through The Keyhole.

JB shot to fame as part of JLS in 2008, when they finished runners-up on The X Factor.

Meanwhile, JB is no stranger to Strictly.

He danced with Ola Jordan in the 2012 festive instalment.

Yet some fans are already flagging this as a sign of a “fix” – and argued he shouldn’t have a spot in the show.
