Tesco shoppers rush to buy stunning four-piece garden furniture scanning for £89 instead of £200

THE SUN is still shining and it’s the perfect time of year to embrace outdoor dining.

Bargain hunters are in luck as one savvy shopper spotted an amazing deal on a fabulous outdoor furniture set on sale at Tesco – and it’s proving popular.

The shopper spotted the product and shared the deal on the B&M Bargains, Extreme Money Saving Deals and More Facebook group, alongside the words: “Saw this in Tesco today.”

One person commented: “I like this.”

Another said: “They have the pull along wagons as well.”

Someone else wrote: “This is what Daniel needs.”

Another person tagged a friend and added:  “Would look good in your garden.”

Someone else added: “We bought it full price is so nice.”

The Florence outdoor furniture set features four pieces; two chairs, a table and a larger seat.

It was previously £200 but now costs just £89 – that’s more than 50% off.

And it’s not the only garden furniture which is reduced in price at the moment.

Last month eagle-eyed shoppers also bagged themselves £100 off another garden furniture piece – just in time for the summer months.

The Studio Oxford 6 Piece Patio Set was originally on sale for £149.99 on the Sports Direct website.

But the price was slashed to only £49.99 – a saving of 65%.

It comes with four chairs, a round table, as well as a parasol for those looking to relax in the shade.

A post on the Extreme Coupons and Bargaining group on Facebook read: “This is a nice bargain! received mine.”

A similar patio set is the Laurel Moonless 4 Seater dining set with a parasol, which is on sale at B&Q for £76.

It’s always a good idea to shop around because you might be able to find a better deal elsewhere.

Product prices can fluctuate as retailers take them on and off sale, with prices differing in-store compared to online.

If you want to find out how much an item costs across different retailers online you can use price comparison websites like Trolley and Price Runner.

They both use databases of thousands of products on sale.

Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers.

All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.

How to bag a bargain

SUN Savers Editor Lana Clements explains how to find a cut-price item and bag a bargain…

Sign up to loyalty schemes of the brands that you regularly shop with.

Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.

Sales are when you can pick up a real steal.

Retailers usually have periodic promotions that tie into payday at the end of the month or Bank Holiday weekends, so keep a lookout and shop when these deals are on.

Sign up to mailing lists and you’ll also be first to know of special offers. It can be worth following retailers on social media too.

When buying online, always do a search for money off codes or vouchers that you can use vouchercodes.co.uk and myvouchercodes.co.uk are just two sites that round up promotions by retailer.

Scanner apps are useful to have on your phone. Trolley.co.uk app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when out shopping.

Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s scanner in the app to find discounts in-store before staff have marked them out.

And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.
