A BEAUTY enthusiast was left surprised when she spotted well-known brands being sold at her local Dollar Tree store.
She confessed to having been “terrified” to try two products until she found them for $1.25 each.
She shared photos of the products from her shopping haul alongside swatches on Reddit’s Drugstore MUA forum.
POUT PERFECTORS
She shared a snap with a L’Oreal and two Revlon lipsticks, before revealing she also bought six shades of Covergirl lip products.
“PIC 1: L’Oreal Pro Matte Liquid Lipstick in 828 Framboise,” she said, writing under the handle ShagKink.
“Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tint in 240 Berry Lit.
“Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tint in 310 Orange Pout.”
The second photo showed three Covergirl Melting Pout Matte products, while the third was Covergirl Melting Pout Gel Liquid Lipsticks.
Shades included 318 Virgo, 325 Never Say Never, 330 Seismic Impulsion, 140 Gellie Jelly, 130 Don’t Be Gelly, and 145 Gel-Bird.
The swatches of makeup on her arm looked red, nude, black, purple, and pink.
“I was super surprised to see these at my local Dollar Tree!” she said.
“I’m not sure if these are available at all DTs, but I didn’t want anyone to miss out.”
She revealed that she had previously been hesitant to try certain colors of lipstick.
“Blue and purple lipsticks always terrified me cuz I worried they would make my teeth look super yellow, and I didn’t want to spend $8 to find out,” she said.
“But for $1.25? Hell yeah!
“I love the purple and blue, btw! [by the way] My teeth look fine.
“Be not afraid!”
