I’m a plastic surgeon, the reality of Katie Price’s 17 boob jobs & why stars like Olivia Attwood may need more surgeries

FROM buccal fat removal to eyebrow lifts, celebrities have been known to get a variety of work done but no surgery is as popular as a boob job.

A plastic surgeon has shared their thoughts on some of the UK’s most famous breast augmentations, including one which he thinks will have to be redone.

While the bigger the better was always the mentality when it came to cup size, some stars have opted to get their implants removed in recent years.

Victoria Beckham, Kim Kardashian, and Pamela Anderson are among those who opted for a reduction.

More and more celebrities are following suit, having various cosmetic procedures undone.

In light of that, Fabulous spoke to a plastic surgeon about common boob job mistakes and their easy fixes.

Dr. Jerry Chidester, also known as “Dr. Chiddy,” spoke exclusively to Fabulous about the effects of going too big with your enhancement.

Here, the board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon shares his professional opinion on the work some celebs have had done.

OLIVIA ATTWOOD

Dr Chiddy explained that Olivia’s complaints about her skin stretching may result in her needing an uplift in the future[/caption]

The Love Island legend has admitting to having a cheap and quick boob job when she was younger.

Olivia has since stressed the importance of doing your research before undergoing any kind of cosmetic surgery procedure.

“I realised they didn’t look right for my frame,” the reality star explained.

“The weight of the implants started to stretch my skin and they got lower and lower.”

“Some women desire a ‘disproportionate’ look with their breasts, even if it’s for a short time period in their lives,” Dr Chiddy said, speaking about Olivia’s thin frame and bigger breasts.

“Relatively large implants, especially when combined with a lot of native breast tissue, can have long-term effects on the breast tissue and skin quality.

“Uplifts, or mastopexies, are ways to retighten and reposition the areola to be somewhat proportionate again with the rest of the body.

“She might need this eventually, especially if she ever decides to downsize her implants.”

“Simply adding an implant doesn’t correct the hanging issue; the larger the implant, the more it looks like a saggy balloon.

“Usually, an aggressive breast lift combined with a moderately sized implant is best to compliment one’s frame.”

As well as a reduction option, a breast uplift or mastopexy can help to make bigger boob jobs look more proportionate with the body.

KATIE PRICE

The plastic surgeon explained that Katie’s boobs may no longer be mouldable after so many surgeries[/caption]

Katie Price reportedly went under the knife for her 17th boob job in a bid to have the UK’s “biggest” breasts recently.

“It’s me being impulsive, I just went: “Oh go bigger then!” Maybe it’s the Gemini in me… my body is used to it, I have been bigger,’ Katie once said about her many surgeries.

“Eventually, this amount of surgery can lead to a breast shape that is no longer mouldable and breast skin that is too scared to do much of anything,” Dr Chiddy explained.

“More surgery can’t correct those issues.”

He added that 17 breast surgeries is “definitely one of the most I’ve ever heard of as a plastic surgeon.”

Specialist surgeons can help to rework implants which are too big for the body if a run of the mill reduction isn’t an option.

VICKY PATTISON

Vicky’s plastic surgery clinic explained that the reality star wanted to get work done on her boobs after losing weight[/caption]

The reality star has previously spoken out on how her weight loss effected her chest.

The MYA clinic, where the former I’m A Celebrity winner had her work done, shared an insight into Vicky’s procedure.

“Vicky felt as though she had lost all volume and her breast had become uneven due to the dramatic weight loss,” they said.

“Many women after weight loss experience significant breast deflation and the skin of the breasts typically hangs low,” Dr Chiddy explained.

Like Vicky, anyone who has experienced significant weight loss can have work done to improve the volume of their breasts.

LAURA ANDERSON

Dr Chiddy said that Laura’s ‘high profile’ implants with ‘large volume’ don’t suit her smaller frame[/caption]

The Love Island alumnus has been vocal over her “disastrous” experience with her breast implants.

Dr Chiddy discussed how a minor change could’ve made all the difference for Laura’s appearance.

“Laura has a relatively small frame and upper chest, so a higher profile implant with relatively large volume will consume a lot of her chest space,” he said.

“Many women equate implants that are wider than their natural breast width as being ‘too big for their frame.’

“If she chose a less round or less projected implant and a little less volume it could look very natural and compliment her frame.”

If implants are too big or set too high for the frame, reductions and other surgeries are available to make them look more natural.

Common Causes of Saggy Boobs

Gravity: Over time, the constant pull of gravity can cause the ligaments in the boobs to stretch and sag, especially in larger ones

Smoking: Smoking reduces blood supply to the skin, leading to a loss of elasticity and premature sagging

Lack of Support: Not wearing a properly fitting bra, especially during exercise, can lead to stretching of breast tissue and ligaments

Weight gain and loss: Changes in body weight can spark changes to the fatty tissue in the breasts, making them more prone to sagging

CHLOE FERRY

The reality star, who shot to fame on Geordie Shore, was well-known for her larger chest during her stint on the show, having undergone three separate boob jobs.

However, earlier this year Chloe was spotted after apparently undergoing a breast reduction.

“I see a lot of women who come in desiring smaller breasts even after previous breast reductions or breast augmentations, specifically around weight loss,” Dr Chiddy explained.

“The proportions of the body do change a bit when there’s weight changes so sometimes breasts need to be reduced and lifted to make someone appear more proportionate again.”

Many women have opted for successful breast reductions after losing weight post-boob job.

CHLOE SIMS

Dr Chiddy warned that Chloe’s large implants couple with her smaller frame may be ‘detrimental to her breast skin quality over time’[/caption]

The former TOWIE star reportedly had two surgeries that saw her go from a 34DD to an EE cup.

Chloe has since expressed regret over such a significant enhancement.

“For women like Chloe with naturally narrow frames, adding a large implant and then upsizing again to obtain a full look, it can be detrimental to her breast skin quality over time,” Dr Chiddy said.

He explained that the “physical weight of the implants alone can lead to breast tissue volume thinning and skin stretch.”

“Some women even experience stretch marks on their breast skin from implants this size,” he added.

A breast reduction surgery can help to improve any discomfort caused by larger implants on smaller frames.

GEMMA ATKINSON

Gemma Atkinson has since shared regret over her boob job, describing her implants as feeling like ‘golf balls’ after having her two children[/caption]

The former Hollyoaks star has been vocal about how having kids effected her breast augmentation.

She described her DDs as looking like “golf balls” after she breastfed both her children.

Gemma has since shared her belief that working out is the best way to enhance your body rather than going under the knife.

“The breasts can change overall shape as the skin stretches to accommodate increased breast tissue volume during pregnancy,” Dr Chiddy said.

He added that the often “don’t shrink back to their original state after.”

“Sometimes, they can become more firm as well, and are visibly firm and round like golf balls,” he continued.

“Some women do desire postpartum breast surgery to restore their breast shape and size.”

Specialist surgeons are available to consult on your breast augmentation post-partum.
