‘Big Brother 26’ spoilers: Tucker shakes up the game, but things don’t go according to his plan

Well, he did it. Tucker was sick of everyone being scared to make moves on “Big Brother 26,” and if you want things done, you gotta do it yourself. He used the Veto on Angela on Monday instead of himself. And then his big plan went awry.

Tucker wanted Cedric to put up Quinn as the renom to flush out his power and had believed Cedric was on board. Cedric was not and nominated Makensy to flush out her power. She invoked it and took herself off the block, so America will vote for the third nominee now, likely after Wednesday’s episode airs. She, Angela and Cedric are not eligible for the renom.

At some point during the Veto meeting, Quinn’s power was exposed, likely by Tucker. Quinn did an apology tour, trying to explain why he wasn’t honest about his power with his supposed allies, which is, like, everyone, and said he’ll use the power next week since that’s the last chance he has. Tucker was pissed that Cedric never told him the change in plans for the renom, and the two of them go into it, arguing about whether or not Cedric told him to use the Veto on himself. Tucker was not around when Cedric decided on Makensy, but Cedric also didn’t outright tell Tucker his new plan from what we’ve seen. Tucker told Cedric he’s his new target now, but the two later hugged it out after they calmed down.

Concern raged about who America would pick as the renom. The big issue is that a lot of things (and houseguests) have not been shown in the episodes yet and TV-only viewers control a lot of the vote. Tucker has accepted that he might go home if he doesn’t win AI Arena, but he’s OK with it because he shook up the game. The funniest part of all this is that Cedric never wanted to get blood on his hands and now he’s covered in blood.
